Our immune support is designed to ensure your immune system is well protected and optimized. While designing this product, we had the thought of our loved ones in mind. We wanted the absolute best product to keep them healthy and have a strong selection of vitamins and minerals in the product.
According to dietician Julia Zumpano, RD, LD, vitamin C, B6, and E are some of the most important to keep your body healthy. All of which are found in our supplements. Vitamin C is one of the primary vitamins to aid your immune system, reduce inflammation, and a lack of Vitamin C makes you more susceptible to sickness. Great sources of vitamin c include colorful fruits and vegetables, like oranges, peppers, grapefruits, tangerines, strawberries, spinach, kale, and broccoli. Vitamin C isn’t produced or stored in your body, so it’s necessary to get this from your diet.1
Vitamin B6, a vitamin only obtained through diet, does wonders for the body and immune system. It promotes brain and eye health, reduces Alzheimer's and heart disease risk, and fights inflammation, which may also contribute to fighting cancer. For women, it may also aid PMS symptoms.2 Other b vitamins included in our immune support vitamin are b1, b2, b3, b5, b6, and b12. All of these aid the body with their abilities to prevent heart and brain disease, fight inflammation, improve the immune system, skin, hair, eyes, and energy levels, as well as fight mental and cognitive challenges like depression, dementia, and memory loss.
Vitamin E is another great vitamin found in nuts, seeds, and spinach. It wards off infections due to its strong antioxidant profile. The Vitamin D3 in our product maintains the body’s levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood and can be found in supplements, food, or through the sun. It’s key for protection from respiratory infection and ours is sourced from algae - ensuring the product is entirely vegan.
Another powerful vitamin which can reduce chances of cancer, protect your eyes, bones, and immune system is vitamin A which is commonly found in sweet potatoes, squash, kale, collards, carrot, red peppers, spinach, and romaine lettuce.3
One of the body’s most important minerals, magnesium is also found in our immune support supplement. It aids the body with many functions, one of which being regulating the immune system. Biotin, also known as B7, most notably known for its hair and skin benefits, also does wonders for the immune system, heart, and brain. It increases the response to fight bacterial and viral infections. Lower levels of B7 are also associated with decreased antibody synthesis and T cells.4
An Immune Support vitamin is an excellent way to gain nutrients that you normally don’t gain from your diet. For example, if Adam never eats his vegetables, he’s missing out on loads of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that keep the body healthy. The best way would be to consume those vegetables, but if he can’t get them into his diet then supplements are a great way to do so.
To start, having a healthy body and immune system really begins with a healthy lifestyle. There are obvious factors to improve your lifestyle, like don’t smoke and binge drink, exercise, eat healthy, maintain a healthy weight, minimize stress, wash your hands thoroughly, and eat a diet full of vegetables and fruits.
Another great way to aid your immune system is by supplementing it with vitamins and minerals known that help the immune system. For instance, vitamin C, E, and B6! Ensuring your body is gaining enough vitamins and minerals will go a long way.
